Judd Hirsch

Judd Seymore Hirsch ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler. Er ist bekannt für seine Hauptrolle als Sergeant Dominick Delvecchio in der CBS-Serie Delvecchio, in seinen Rollen als Alex Rieger in der Komödienserie Taxi (1978–1983), als John Lacey in der NBC-Serie Dear John (1988–1992) und als Alan Eppes in der CBS-Serie Numb3rs (2005–2010). Er ist außerdem bekannt für seine Theaterkarriere und seine Rollen in Filmen wie Eine ganz normale Familie (1980), Die Flucht ins Ungewisse (1988), Independence Day (1996), A Beautiful Mind (2001), Independence Day - Wiederkehr (2016), Uncut Gems (2019) und Die Fabelmans (2022). Hirsch hat zweimal den Primetime Emmy Award als herausragender Hauptdarsteller in einer Comedyserie gewonnen, zweimal den Tony Award als bester Hauptdarsteller in einem Theaterstück, den Golden Globe Award als bester Hauptdarsteller in einer Fernsehserie – Musical oder Komödie – und wurde zweimal für den Oscar als bester Nebendarsteller für seine Auftritte in „Eine ganz normale Familie“ (1980) und „Die Fabelmans“ (2022) nominiert.
